Dokhona is traditional dress of the Bodo women. It is a one-piece garment that is wrapped around a body in a unique style. It has generous look of two-piece wear. A Dokhona covers the whole body from chest to the legs by wrapping one round at a time over the waist. It has vertical stripes in pink, green and yellow, with the base colour of yellow. The stripes are further decorated with symmetrical zigzag and square patterns.
