Je is a common implement used for fishing by the Bodo community. Chagje is used to fish small to big fishes in rivers and lakes. It is made of nylon and plastic fiber or strings, braided in very intricate grid like pattern. The use of this kind of fishing net is common to many communities of Assam.

It is a bird trap used for traditional way of capturing and hunting birds. This is made of finely skinned small bamboo sticks delicately tied with jute threads, which are replaced with nylon threads now-a-days. The bamboo sticks are tied together in square shape. Nylon threads are skillfully wrapped around the surface of the trap. With this traps, birds can be trapped alive. These are frequently used in the agricultural fields to prevent damage by the wild birds.

It is an elongated implement with a shovel shaped or pan-shaped head for carrying water attached to a long bamboo handle. It is made of bamboo strips by fastening one with another. The main body is triangular in shape with a handle. It is used for pullout water from one place to another during agricultural activities or while fishing.

Animal net trap is a kind of net used for hunting or capturing small to large animals, especially deer. It is also used by most of the ethnic communities in Assam for capturing animals such as deer, wild boars, birds and rabbits. Earlier these were made of jute threads, however, at present; most of the nets are made of plastic ropes. This net is normally used to lay a trap in the potential area where signs of animal tracks can be observed. A group of hunters is usually responsible for chasing and luring the animal towards the trap. These kinds of animal traps are used not only to hunt for flesh, but for capturing animals which destroy crops and vegetables.
